Morocco celebrates its leadership in health tourism: a series of lectures by Dr. Abdelaty Elmannaee at Moulay Ismail University
At the initiative of Dr.Rida CHALFI coordinator of the Master’s program in Tourism Communication and Heritage Valorization at the Multidisciplinary Faculty of Errachidia, who continues to work tirelessly to revitalize university training pathways and make them more diverse and open to national and international expertise—and as part of Moulay Ismail University’s openness to its national and international environment—Dr. Abdellaty elmannae, a pioneer of health tourism in the Arab world, will deliver a series of online lectures for Master’s students in the coming weeks.These lectures will address various aspects of health tourism, including therapeutic tourism, environmental recovery, and accessible health tourism, which focuses on providing tourism services for people with disabilities and the elderly. Dr. El Mannaei is recognized as the first scholar to have defined this concept scientifically and integrated it into the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals.He will also present a special session on the "Moroccan Environmental Recovery Map," which he designed to highlight Morocco’s most suitable regions for natural healing. The lecture will also showcase practical examples from his pioneering experiences in developing health tourism programs at both the Arab and international levels.This initiative falls within Dr. Chelfi’s forward-looking academic vision, which aims to modernize university training mechanisms and expand their scope to include practical and innovative approaches. The goal is to equip research students with analytical and applied skills that meet the evolving dynamics of the tourism and heritage sectors in Morocco and around the world.Dr. Abdellati El Mannaei is one of the most prominent Arab experts in the field of health tourism.
